Migration Agents Registration Act 1998:

There is a strict Code of Conduct enforced on registered migration agents, which if not adhered to can result in disciplinary action that can include suspension or cancellation. This is not the case with unregistered offshore agents who remain outside the control of the Migration Regulations.
